What We Do

Immigrant Rights Action came into being as a neighborhood collective in March 2017 in response to an ICE raid in Doylestown that apprehended four young restaurant workers.  We are now recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice as the only non-profit legal immigration services provider in Bucks County.

Our volunteers provide transportation and accompaniment to legal consultations, court hearings and ICE supervision visits, while our attorney referral program and financial support from our community legal defense fund make it possible for families to quickly retain effective counsel in immigration cases.  Our advocacy has taken us from borough governments, local police departments, and county court administration to face-to-face meetings with our state legislators and U.S. Representatives.

There are many ways to support our ongoing work!  We warmly encourage you to get involved by subscribing to our newsletter or contacting us through the form on this site.
